Summary

Penguin presents the unabridged downloadable audiobook edition of Everything but the Truth by Gillian McAllister, read by Colleen Prendergast.

It all started with the email.

Rachel didn't even mean to look. She loves Jack, and she's pregnant with their child. She trusts him.

But now she's seen it, she can't undo that moment. Or the chain of events it has set in motion.

Why has Jack been lying about his past? Just what exactly is he hiding? And doesn't Rachel have a right to know the truth at any cost?

I did enjoy it

But a week later I cannot recall a thing to say about it but that’s me not the book!

Not as good as the other books

I was really look forward to this book, as I had read many others by the same author but was disappointed with this storyline.

Promising Start...

I was hooked fairly quickly, but the storyline didn't play out as thrillingly as I would have liked.

Very good narration by Colleen Prendergast.

Kept me Guessing

This was the first book I've read in this genre, and only picked it up because it was suggested as our December read in a book club.
I was pleasantly shocked by how much I enjoyed the story and how I was kept guessing with what would happen with the storyline.

Plot twist

Love these books. Love the narrator. The story is amazing. I started at her last book and absorbed it. I have now finished it as quick and I will be working my way through all of the books.

Interesting but not riveting

Thought it went on a bit and ending inevitable. Narration good but not enough happening in the book

A Love story entered on a Moral Dilemma

I can't really criticise this book but it did not really stand out for me. It is essentially a love story with trust and honesty at its centre and I found it quiet slow paced. Rachel was an annoying character and I sympathised with Jack and his dilemma. I was hoping for some sort of interesting twist at the end but was disappointed. I also found Rachel's pregnancy to be irritating and her constant references to it. I did however enjoy the narration and felt it was well paced and enjoyed the regional accents that were just right and never over the top.

It was okay to get to sleep with

I liked the book. It was a great story, but nothing really did keep you hanging. Helped me get to sleep.

Slightly disappointing

Started well but for me the story didn’t develop in line with early expectations. Slightly disappointing as a whole.

Engaging tale with great narration.

This novel has a slow start, but once it gets going, it draws the listener in. The characters are well drawn, and their respective dilemmas, original.
