Summary

Clich?s Galore
I wasn't sure if this was a comedy at first. It made me laugh out loud at some parts. The fiesty red haired, emerald eyed heroine, the dark and brooding anti-hero's (all secretly in love with the heroine and all Scottish), the bizzare back story, mixed with a few supernatural powers and a bit of religious theme thrown in for good luck. Clich?s galore.
The narration was fine apart from the Scottish accents. It seems all Scots have an upward inflection at the end of everything they say which turns everything into a question. This got very irritating. The lady did a very passable English accent until she said 'tomAto' rather than 'tomato', which is a basic error.
I only got as far as the first download, by which time the comedic value had worn off and, quite frankly, I didn't care if they all got caught and the whole lot of them came to a grizzly end. It would have been a kindness.
Maybe if you were reading this the story wouldn't have seemed so silly and the characters so annoying, but listening to it was not a pleasure, more of a chore.
