This is a very entertaining story. The mystery is light and the characters are well written and developed. I will read the next book in this series.
Would you consider the audio edition of Death is a Cabaret to be better than the print version?
I have only listened to these books by Deborah Morgan. But with the great reader the stories come to life as audible books. I think I will continue to listen to Morgans books over reading them as page turners.
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed this series by Deborah Morgan for both the Seattle local color and the insight into the world of antiques collectors.

What would have made Death is a Cabaret better?
Rewrote it with a focus on improving the character development and overall quality of the story.
Would you ever listen to anything by Deborah Morgan again?
I doubt it.
You didn???t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
If you like unchallenging cozies with stock characters, you may like this.
Any additional comments?
The characters were flat and the prose struck me as amateurish. Maybe this writer develops in later books but I would pass on this one.
