Summary

Though Dark River sentinel Mercy is feeling the pressure to mate, she savagely resists when Riley Kincaid, a lieutenant from the Snow Dancer pack, tries to possess her. The problem is not simply that he pushes her buttons; the problem is that he's a wolf, she's a cat, and they're both used to being on top. But when a brilliant changeling researcher is kidnapped from Dark River territory, Mercy and Riley must work together to track the young man - before his shadowy captors decide he's no longer useful. Along the way, the two dominants may find that submitting to one another uncovers not just a deadly conspiracy but a passion so raw that it'll leave them both branded by fire....

Excellent

One of my favorite love stories from the psy Changeling series between a dominant wolf who falls heads over heels for a dominant cat. Narrated with emotion, I guess this was a CD conversion but overall loved it.

More like it.

After hating the last book I was on the verge of giving up on this series. Only the fact that I absolutely loved book three made me progress. I’m so glad I did as I loved this book. Riley and Mercy were right up my street. I loved their story and the plot went from ok to very good in this instalment. The narrator is very good when she’s not narrating the psy women’s characters. Onto the next book now. Hopefully it’s as good as this one and book three.
