Enjoyable though some annoying errors are said.
In chapter 7 the wrong name is said/used.
Eve is talking to Feeney after being poked by Whitney about the data.
Should be WHITNEY not “Feeney made a direct statement”
BOOK REVIEW
Another entertaining story that keeps you reading till the end.
Sad at the waste of two lives just starting out but such emotion and humour with the end of Mavis’ pregnancy looming.
Two young people with their whole lives ahead of them are killed. Just because they didn’t go to the right person in their firm with what was discovered.
Also happening is the disappearance of Tandy, a pregnant friend of Mavis’s.
I thoroughly enjoyed how these two separate events ended up intertwined and involved.
LOVED the ending with both Mavis and Tandy going into labour together.
The balance of two innocent lives lost and two babies being born, both carrying a part of Eve with them into the future, is wonderfully done.
A pity the disgusting mother didn’t spend the rest of her life in a cage.
I have read all of these books twice or more already as I own most in paperback and am slowly collecting the kindle versions too when price is reasonable.
I am rereading this series once more, updating and replacing missing reviews.
I have read about 8 books in a row this time and they never get tired, overlap or lose my interest.

i liked the narrator. the sex scenes didn't need to be so detailed. the story was too long and drawn out.

Loved it.
Loved this story a friend of Mavis goes missing and Eve promises her she'll try and find her. A couple of accountants are murdered and Eve has to try and solve this case as well as the missing person, and on top of all that Eve has to hold a baby shower for Mavis and the baby is born. Truly a full book

horrible English accent
usually I love these books. Listened to over 20 now... however... this "Tandy" woman has the most annoying "accent" ever. the narrator really failed at the supposedly English accent. it's not only inaccurate but also extremely annoying. Yes, I live in England. It's so annoying, I'm surprised Eve didn't use her stunner on her.
