Summary
A BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation of a classic Agatha Christie mystery, starring Lyndsey Marshal, Geoffrey Whitehead, and John Rowe.
Ten guests travel to an island at the invitation of someone named U. N. Owen. All are strangers, but they have two things in common: they have all been responsible for someone's death, and none will leave the island alive. Over the next two days and nights, each of the guests is killed off in a different manner in keeping with the nursery rhyme, 'Ten Little Soldier Boys'. As they are picked off one by one, who could possibly be responsible?
The killers are forced to turn detective so they can find the unknown murderer, but one by one they become victims.
Billed as 'the famous detective story without a detective', And Then There Were None is one of Agatha Christie's darkest and most enduring tales.

And Then There Were None
This is a dramatisation of Agatha Christie's novel, and it's very effective and enjoyable. The characters are well portrayed by the actors and it's easy to tell all of them apart. The incidental music and background effects (seagulls, the sea) add to the tension and build up the suspense. The audio creates a claustrophobic atmosphere that really complements the story.

Very Rushed!
Love cast dramatisations so when I saw this to download I was very excited as it is my favourite Agatha Christie story but after listening to it I felt this was just too rushed! I wasn’t a fan of the ending either, I prefer the 1945 film ending! Was good overall but not as good as I was hoping it to be.

It's AC - what's not to love!
An atmospheric performance of one AC's finest pieces.
Spine-chilling sound effects as the tone of the story is captured and the body count keeps on rising.

Stick to unabridged for this one
Excellent story, but ridiculously rushed. Mostly good voice acting, though choosing the kid as the narrator was a terrible choice. Basically just listen to an unabridged version.

So Good!
I remember watching the old black and white film many years ago so when I found this on audible I just had to listen to it and I was not disappointed. It has an amazing cast that did an excellent job, it took me back all those years and it was as if I was watching the film all over again but in my head. I really enjoyed it and will definitely listen to it again and also recommend it to others.

Her masterpiece, too short
As this is well documented as one of AC’s masterpieces, I would have expected a longer, more drawn out play to echo its importance. It was very well done but I would have hoped for more development and felt the ‘fear factor’ never arrived as it did so atmospherically in the book.

Wonderful adaptation
Like so many of us, I have read the book and watched the film and Television adaptations. I confess to being slightly underwhelmed by them all.
This audio version, however, brings the whole story to life, and takes it to a much higher level.
The voices are easy to distinguish, the acting is excellent, and the background sound effects are well chosen and add depth to the drama.
Highly highly recommended
