Summary
Most witches don't work for police departments, but Michelle isn't your average witch. She's clanless, looking for a warlock who isn't offended by her lack of family connections, and in danger of losing her job if she can't find the eight escaped trolls before they start eating the local residents.
Trolls, angry police, and misbehaving spells are the least of her problems. Statues attacking homeowners might be problematic for your average witch, but to Michelle it's another day at the office. Her real concern is the wizard suddenly interested in dating her and an old elf set on pestering her. When her happy family is rocked by a long-kept secret, her stable life falls apart faster than she can pick up the pieces.
And she still hasn't found those trolls.
Soundbooth Theater has released a boxset to rekindle interest in the Witch's Path series with listeners! Don't miss this opportunity to nab more than 20 hours of adventure with Georgia's favorite magical sleuth for the price of one credit.
Jeff Hays has built a name for himself by creating immersive experiences, blurring the line between audiobooks and audio drama with distinct, convincing character voices, pristine recording, and special effects to add depth and dimension. In 2015, Jeff took a leap of faith with these three audiobooks. Though he was hesitant at first to narrate a series with a female lead in first person, N.E. Conneely insisted that he was the man for the job. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Jeff surprised even himself by convincingly embodying Michelle's grumpy, headstrong, sarcastic, and distinctly female demeanor. Listeners forgot there was a man behind the voice, and let Michelle guide them through all manner of magical mysteries.

Narration annoying!
A fun and entertaining story but the enjoyment is somewhat ruined by the annoying narration. The male narrator doing a woman's voice just comes across and almost like he's taking the mickey and it took me almost the whole book to get used to it - I almost have up at one point! The rest of the (male) voices are great though. Worth a l listen given it's three books in one, so stick with it!

truly awful.
the weakness of the main character combined with the abysmal narration made this book difficult to finish.

I couldn't finish it.....
The story had a lot of promise but the narrator got to me. Like another review said, his female voices are like he is taking the piss out of woman all over the world. Why would you choose this voice? Especially when most of your dialogue and all the inner thoughts are in a female voice astounds me. To be fair to the voice actor, his male voices are amazing but unfortunately is just highlights how bad the female voices are.
I will be getting this book for my kindle so I can finish the story off... but it was a waste of a credit for me. Also, the voice sample is mostly of the male voices so doesn't show how grating the female voices can be... and trust me. I was having to take a break from listening to this book because I just couldn't take it anymore...

Magical
An enjoyable box set and although the story can drag in parts and seemed rushed in others it balances itself out.
I do want to slap the Private Eye friend - annoying and how she makes a living out of the job I have no idea as she seems to panic and lose her head when things happen.
The voice actress of the main character can sound a little whiny at times but overall it works. The elven voice seems a little stereotyped and the Irish accent does go for a walk about sometimes. It would seems from the authors website that the voice cast is slightly different for the next book in the series. I do recommend that you go to the authors website as it has a good section of bonus material about the series.
Would love little short stories from the different supporting police cast, they would be good fun, as well as why two brownies decided to set up a B&B.

Narrator shouldn’t try to be a female
The story was good but the female voice was so grating I was hardly able to finish it.
