Summary

Detective Lindsay Boxer has everything she could possibly want. Her marriage and baby daughter are perfect, and life in Homicide in the San Francisco Police Department is going well. But all that could change in an instant.

Lindsay is called to a crime scene at the Four Seasons Hotel. There is a dead man in one of the rooms, shot at close range. The man checked in under a false name with no ID on him, so the first puzzle will be finding out who he is.

In the room next door are a dead young man and woman, also shot. They are surrounded by high-tech surveillance equipment. Could they have been spying on the man now dead in the room next to them?

And in the utilities cupboard down the hall is the dead body of a house maid. The murders are all clearly linked and professionally executed. But what is the motive behind it all? Lindsay will need to risk everything she has to find out.

Mega Dissapointed

What did you like best about 15th Affair? What did you like least?

I really did not feel that the problems with Lindsey and Joes relationship where in charachter with the previous books

What was most disappointing about James Patterson’s story?

It seemed rushed and not typical to the rest of the series .
Also the story is based around Lindsay and Joe and the other club members are only briefly named

Have you listened to any of January LaVoy’s other performances? How does this one compare?

January's performance was brilliant as always , probably the only thing that made this audiobook beareable

Any additional comments?

I was really disapointed in book 15, I normally love this series . I didn't really find the plot that interesting, and very out of character to normal.
If you love this series I would actually recomend giving this one a miss .

A good women's murder club book

I think James Patterson should think about making his leading female character less whiny. She is a cop after all. Otherwise a good installment.

Disappointing

Not as good as I expected, I found the storyline a bit dull, kept listening hoping it would pick up momentum

Thee storyline was entertaining but the music and sound effects were off putting and not necessary at all

Good on the whole

I enjoyed this on the whole but I found the main character tedious at times. There’s a lot of focus on her inner emotional turmoil and this is returned to again and again. My eye muscles got strained from all the eye rolling... maybe it’s a man thing?

Not too bad

The story line was not too bad, I found was skipping bits but easy to listen to. I thought it was brilliant when I heard the scene sounds, such as the cars spinning out of control. The speaker was good.
