About this listen

The long-awaited sequel to Lovely Darkness by USA Today bestselling author R Sullins!

Kallista had always known she was different. The shadows had always called to her. She craved to be held safe in their cool depths. To escape her parent's methods of attempting to rid her of her demons.

Valen was destruction. Everything he touched crumbled. Everywhere he went, pain followed. He learned a millennia ago that being alone was the only way to keep the world safe.

When the marks that had shown on Valen's wrist years ago suddenly changed, he realized that there was more to his world than he knew. A woman called to the deepest parts of him. For the first time in his very long life, he was going to give in to his instincts.

He would just have to protect her from the destruction that followed him.

Really good 😊 the first one is my favourite but this one’s good as well I did want there to be a little more pages about kallista’s ability but overall 5 stars plus 10 stars for the narrators they are amazing 🤩

This is a good second book but... female lead is annoying the 'I'm going to tell my mate' is very childish. I preferred the first book but will still try the third so not put off that much. Narration is good and I think this is the hardest thing to get right and story is good. I really want to know how her parents suffered in detail so perhaps I'll get this before the end of this book. They're awful!

Good second book
