I see I’m the first to review the book on this app and oh my. I’m not wise enough to write how this book has impacted me thus far. I haven’t even finished and I feel if PAM stopped at chapter 1 that would be enough to charge a believer to contend inwardly. From the one liners to the deep quotable bars this book is powerful. You could hear the emotion in his cadence, the spirit urging the believer to lean in with their ears and with their heart, this isn’t just a book. It’s a cry for a body to contend with the soft whisper of revival in the back. I regret not getting the book because the amount of things I want to highlight is unfathomable. But like PAM says, what’s the point of a colourful book if it doesn’t reflect how you live. Contend for the faith. Both inwardly and outwardly. Otherwise we will suffer the consequences. I pray grace and peace over everyone who reads this book. And I pray for a boldness over you to act out the words. Not just listen/read them.

Contend... Yes, that's what we all should be doing. This is a book that we can all understand, and it gives me the fire I need to be bold and stand up for my Lord and Savior.
