About this listen

The solar system is no more, but humanity continues. Can we still be called human? We look different, but is that all? Or have we also learned something from our mistakes?

Will we learn more about Vist?

(This book contains scenes of violence, assault, gore and grief.)

I picked up the audiobook for "Construct & Vist" after really enjoying the first book in the series, and I'm so glad I continued with this one. Anka B. Troitsky has this knack for blending sci-fi with genuinely unsettling horror elements that kept me glued to my headphones during my commute.

Sci-fi that pushes boundaries

Great story, interesting characters and some orignal concepts about being human. Most enjoyable if dark in places.

Really enoyable Sci-Fi

This audiobook pulled me in from the start and didn’t let go. The world-building is incredibly imaginative, painting a future where humanity has changed both physically and philosophically.

Gripping and thought

Not gonna lie this one goes deep into the whole what even is human anymore? debate and it does it in a way that’s both unsettling and kind of fascinating. The world is brutal bioengineering, messed up ethics and some concrete existential dread all wrapped in a dystopian nightmare. Vist is still a mystery and the more you learn the more you realize you don’t actually know anything. Also Ramus Napovni? Absolute scumbag.

I enjoyed listening to it.

This is both thought provoking and unnerving with the question of humanity and technology and the deeper philosophical questions of where technology and humanity could blur into a deep dystopia. Well narrated and engaging throughout.
