About this listen

'Compulsively readable and vividly written – it kept me awake long past my bedtime! Ariel Sullivan is a writer to watch'
– Sarah J. Maas, bestselling author of A Court of Thorns and Roses

One man could offer her the world. The other will help her destroy it . . .

Born to an Elite family, Emeline has been marked as different from birth and by a society that judges all its citizens on their ability to conform.

Emeline only has one role open to her: to become a mother. Offered a pro-creation contract with Collin, a member of the Illum – the governing body of the Elite – Emeline finds herself increasingly torn between her growing complicated feelings for her proposed mate, and another man who lives on the margins of their society who challenges her ideals.

When the marginalized rise up in rebellion, Emeline begins to question everything she has ever believed in.

It’s time to choose a side . . .

'A love triangle that will have you picking sides . . . then changing sides . . . then changing sides again. I read it in one sitting' – Veronica Roth, bestselling author of Divergent

Editorial Review

Perfection has never felt so dangerous
Set in a glittering, glass-towered future where bloodlines are controlled and love is never free, Conform had me hooked from the very first chapter. Emeline has spent her life alone until she’s chosen to compete for a procreation contract with one of the most powerful men in the world. What follows is a twisted, high-stakes love triangle set against a backdrop of secrets, surveillance, and rebellion. The fast pace, paired with Amanda Leigh Cobb’s stellar performance, made this an immersive listening experience that I am still not over. And that end... Let’s just say: I’ll be keeping an eye out for the next in the series.—Patty R., Audible Editor

It's like if Hunger Games meets Margaret Atwood.

Really good. The author has drawn a lot from Orwell. It’s uncomfortable at parts (in a good way) and I am very much looking forward to seeing how the story is developed with the prequel/sequels

1984 reimagined - nail biting

I loved the dystopian context and ambitious story but unfortunately I just found too many holes in the plot and ultimately it made it difficult to believe. The characters lacked a bit of depth for my liking and unfortunately I think the book suffered for that as we missed relatability.

Great concept

Just finished this book at 11pm and now I don’t know how I’m ever going to sleep again. It is SO GOOD. It’s a completely twisted view on the future drawing parallels from things like the hunger games, the handmaids tale, even snow piercer potentially but the story is carried in its own, very unique way. It keeps you guessing, zigzagging between what you think you know, and comes full circle to rip your heart out before you finish! I cannot wait for the next book to come out, I think I might go insane spiralling before then. Please wish me luck!

I am OBSESSED
