Summary

Relationships are complex. Love, ever-changing. And when it comes to rules of the heart, they were made to be broken....

That's what Robert Antonio Bianchi was telling himself, anyway. Otherwise, he really had no excuse for what - or who - he'd done. No excuse, except for his lonely heart, a pitcher of margaritas, four bitter bitches, and the apparent need to confess all his weaknesses to the two men he knew would bring him nothing but trouble.

But trouble was nothing new. Just ask his crazy sisters or any of his friends, and they'd be the first to tell you: If there was a bad decision to be made, Robbie always had a knack for making it. And thus, begins the story of the priest, the princess, and the prick.

Loved the book, hate the audio

I really loved this book, that's why it hurts so much that I hate the audio. The narrator is so stereotypical in his portrayal of Robbie. And Julien in FRENCH but no French accent? That is a big thing!!! I hate that I wasted money on this.

A Great Start

Once again, Ella Frank has delivered a fantastic story and a GREAT start to a companion series for the Tempation series. Enter, Robbie Bianchi, Joel Priestly and Julian Thornton, the most Unlikely trio you would ever think of being possible. I am not gonna spoil a thing, just tell you something that has stuck with me since the very first Tempation novel....You can never know unless you TRY. Thank you Mrs.Frank for another excellent story. I look forward to Julian and Priest.

Not for Me

Sorry, but I just can't get into novels in which a gay man is portrayed so effeminately. Guys who wear red onesies with pompoms or pink thongs are just a huge turn-off.

Also, the author made extensive use of French. Fine. I minored in French. but the average reader didn't

Which brings me to the final thing: The narrator didn't speak French and totally butchered it. Not to mention he didn't seem to know where to put the stress on any of the words in English. But kudos for making the effeminate main character sound as feminine as possible!

Intriguing

I really did love this story and can’t wait to hear what’s next! I think maybe I’m just in a slump where I have listened to too many books lately though. It just wasn’t one of those books that was so amazing I hated it to end. I just felt this one needed a little bit more of a kick to it. Regardless, I am still anxious to see what happens as their story continues.

Awesome start to a new series

5 stars is not enough. What an amazing start to a new series. I can’t wait to delve deeper into Joel and Julian. I like Charlie David but, I didn't like him in this book. He didn't have a distinct enough voice for them. I pictured Julian with a slight French accent even when he was speaking English. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I loved when Robbie put Logan in his place & knocked him down off of his high horse. Sorry Logan I love you but you need to let Robbie live his life.

OMG New series!

I enjoyed the written version, but I find that I ADORE the Audible versions of Ella Franks series. There is just something...else...extra...listening to the dialogue that makes these(and ALL her) characters come to life. I feel like I know them, want to be their friend. Crazy I know, but that's just the way it is. Get it. Listen and decide for yourself~!

Love it!

I knew this book was going to be awesome but Charlie David nailed all three characters. I read the ebook but I'm such a fan of audio books I couldn't wait to listen to this one to. I've listened to Charlie's rendition of Ella Frank's Weddlocked series and knew he would nail this on too. I have to say I'm a huge fan!!!! Way to go Ella and Charlie!!!!

Charlie David's voice is like sin!!!

This was amazing..I loved the book and the audible was fantastic. Charlie David's narration was absolute perfection. OMG his Priest voice was crazy hot and when Priest spoke French in his deep voice, my panties melted!! His Julien voice and French was so sexy and his Robbie was just as I had imagined and had me laughing out loud. Merci Beaucoup!!!

no real plot

I got this book because all the reviews said it was such a great story, and that they love these men. I found that there was no real plot and there was no anguish. The whole story took place in a week, which made it so unrealistic. Two successful men want to take on this young twink who seems to have no real life ambition? I don't buy that, but again there was no real plot.
As for the narration; I've heard him do other books in the genre and he does a really good job at it, but for some reason I just didn't care for it this time around. as for the French pronunciation, some of them were spot-on and some of them he was way off. I kept hearing "uncle" and that's not what he was saying.
