I recommend this book.

I wasn't expecting a magic solution when I bought this book, but we were a bit desperate with our toddler at night. But just applying the initial basic rules described in the book helped us improve our nights with him! So I recommend this book

The book is very informative.

The delivery was great! The book is very informative and easy to listen to as well as understand. I also appreciated that she takes away any guilt from not doing it the way everyone else says and do what you feel comfortable with for your child! I have already implemented some of the things in the book with my own 3-year-old. I would recommend to anyone who has a restless or hard to fall asleep toddler/preschooler!

kid and baby sleep books.

This was a refreshing read, compiling what is known about sleep, and presenting realistic options. If I had listened to this one first when I had my first child twelve years ago, I would have known to steer clear of the "my way or the highway" kid and baby sleep books.

This book is absolutely helpful

This book is absolutely helped my son, my husband and I FINALLY get a full night's sleep. It is well explained, an easy listen, and best of all it actually helped my family. My 14-month-old who had not slept through the night without waking at least once since he was born is now sleeping through the night and sleeping in later in the morning. This after only two weeks of using the easy yet effective techniques in the book. I could not be happier!

Great listen.

I didn't even listen to the whole book! Got halfway through and my two years old went from waking up 3-4 times a night to waking once a night! Some nights I even hear him wake and put himself back to sleep without calling for me!

I love this book

Yes it does work and it is a very easy listen, but as I said, if you are looking for a quick fix, I think you will be hard-pressed to find that anywhere. If you are serious about making a change, the author gives many options and alternatives to make this a successful change.

It's very easy to listen

It's very easy to forget how crucial sleep is to kids and how much they really need. And the amount of information out there can be overwhelming and hard to organize. This book makes it clear, concise, easy to follow, and individualize. Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is having sleep troubles or sees them coming and is looking to head them off.

Best book ever!

This book was a lifesaver when my kid was an infant. Her explaining style has welcomed snark in those desperate times in the middle of the night when you’re up to with the little one. There is even a Facebook group that can help you troubleshoot schedules or issues with a lot of great admins as well as help from the author! This is my go-to for baby shower presents!

Very helpful book.

Still listening to it but so far it's been very helpful. My son had lots of trouble falling asleep on his own and as I've been reading I've been applying the advice and he's been falling asleep on his own perfectly!

I loved this book. The author explaining it in a way that’s funny and relatable while at the same time basing her advice from research. My toddler asks to go to bed!

Informative book

I was excited to listen to this book because my husband was a great support to me when I was pregnant with both of our daughters. I found this book informative, but a little bit clinical. I had hoped for some interesting stories or some humor but didn't find that in it. However, it would be useful as a quick guide for dads who don't want to listen to long books about pregnancy. This book was given to me by the author. All opinions are my own.

Pragmatic advice based on experience

This book is a concise guide for parents and grandparents. It is packed with helpful tips and based on real-world experience. As a father of two, I wish I had read this book before my children were born. The book is easy to read and broken down into well-organized chapters. The advice is very pragmatic. I strongly recommend this book to anyone preparing to be a parent or grandparent.

Good listen

So much focus is on the mother during pregnancy, that this is a nice book that helps fathers learn about all the aspects of pregnancy and becoming a father. It also reminds men to be supportive and understanding of the mother of their child while she's going through her pregnancy. On the practical side, there's a list of things to make sure you do before the arrival of the baby along with essential items to get, like clothes for the baby. Good, listen.

Awesome book

The author did a good job laying out all the important information. I thought he did a particularly good job with the lists. I like lists.
This is a short listen to but had some great useful information. It made me think about a couple of things that I hadn’t considered.

Much needed!

I think new fathers can use this book as a guide. I would also recommend that teenagers and high schoolers also get introduced to this book, as a means of addressing teenage pregnancy issues. This book offers a vivid description of what a pregnant lady goes through.

Great reference

There are so much newborn baby books for moms, I guess because we women carry the babies for 9 months :) but it is sweet to see books cater to men, many men adore babies and make awesome dads! My guy friend just welcomed a newborn and he appreciates this book so much!

Good Info

I read it fairly quickly, which is a good thing. I liked how it is from a father's perspective and had info that made me nod my head. If new dad would listen to this as he and his partner begin to talk about pregnancy, or have just found out they are pregnant, it offers a lot of good info that would be great to be made aware of right out of the gate instead of getting hit over the head with it as it happens. There is value in being prepared.

Practical book

This book is going to help future dads (like me) a lot. I can easily see myself referring to this book for help in the future. It offers advice that seems common sense (support your wife, interact with your child, etc.) but these aspects can be so overlooked with all the stress involved with parenthood. It's nice to listen to a simple, calming guide that reminds you of what it means to be not only a good father but a good husband. I sincerely thank the author of this book for writing this.
