About this listen

Come Back to Me is a complete standalone romantic suspense featuring a grumpy veteran hero and a sunshine quirky musician heroine with plenty of groveling!

Tee: I hate Butch because he let me go. Except I also love him because I imagined forever with him (even just as friends).

So, basically, it sucks to be me.

When my nonna tells me the only way to get over someone is to get under someone else, in strolls Cody Korhonen—my BFF’s brother-in-law.

Romate. Town marshal. All-round good (delicious) guy.

Getting under him may be easy, but staying under him might cost us everything.

Cody: I fell in love with my pen pal, T. An initial on a piece of paper that kept me sane while I was deployed.

To her, I was ‘Butch.’ My call sign. And with anonymity came safety—we opened our souls to one another.

But war broke me, and I loved her enough to let her go.

Life had other plans.

When I return home, I find my sister-in-law’s best friend is the woman I fell in love with.

And she just moved in.

Our small town is too small for the both of us, never mind having to share a roof when this secret is driving me crazy.

Stella Hunter and Connor Crais capture Tee and Cody with sensitivity and humour. Stella is perfect for Tee's quirkiness and her feisty retorts while Connor delivers a grouchy but hurting and torn Cody. He captures Cody's yearning for Tee gorgeously. A perfect duo for this smalltown love story.

Tee and ‘Butch Cassidy’ have been penpals for years. Cody, (Butch) is discharged from the army and isn’t in a good place when he writes Tee a Dear John letter which breaks her heart. Cody and Tee are reacquainted at Pigeon Creek a little while later. When they realise they are each other’s penpals, boy oh boy does Cody have some grovelling to do!

Cody melts my heart with how much he loves and I mean really loves Tee. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her. Tee is fun loving, adorable and quirky, she has a big heart and is also a very talented musician. She would definitely be my new best friend!

The storytelling is superb and I have fallen in love with this genre through these books. Whilst this book is part of a series it can be read as a standalone.

Connor Crais and Stella Hunter perfectly bring these characters to life. Stella captures Tee’s wit and quirkiness wonderfully whilst Connor just has it all for Cody. One of my favourites of the year! ❤️❤️

It’s great to be back in Pigeon Creek. I’ve been looking forward to reading this since it was hinted at, at the end of Things Left Unsaid. Come Back to Me is book 2 in the “7C’s: A Pigeon Creek Series”.

Come back to me picks where the 1st book finishes. Tee (Christy Macfarlane) is now living at the 7C’s ranch that belongs to her best friend’s husband. Cody Korhonen is recently a retired traumatised Air Force vet, brother to the best friend’s husband.

Unbeknownst to Tee, Cody is Butch Cassidy, her air force pen pal, who wrote her a dear John letter before her move to the Ranch. Once Cody confesses, he has a lot of grovelling to do to get Tee to trust in him again.

Tee is a wonderfully quirky, music obsessed genius looking for her one. Cody is stoic, broody, and regretful. Despite their differences, they are perfect for each other.

Conner Crais and Stella Hunter are perfect as Cody and Tee. Stella has Tee’s quirkiness, and Conner has the sexy bass that matches Cody perfectly.

This book is everything i love in a G.A Mazurke story, spice, banter, chemestry, great writing, amazing characters, humor, great relationships that are also realistic, interesting side plots and an overall feel good vibe. I adored Tee and Cody's relationship due to the fact that he let Tee be herself in all her glory, he didn't judge her or tell her to be less which is something we all deserve in a relationship. The friendship between Parker, Zee and Tee was also amazing and I love the fact that they have each others back no matter. It was refreshing that Cody told her instead of her finding out on her own and her pushing him into the lake was 'chef's kiss'

Tee and Cody are top tier
