Summary

A debonair billionaire struggling to improve his company. A voluptuous personal trainer with nothing left to lose. Can their passion save the people they love?

Handsome bear shifter Walter has the vision and drive to save his family's company, but not the power. After months of watching his older, playboy brother, Raymond, destroy the family business, a drunken bet finally gives Walter the opportunity to win it all back. Everything comes down to the shifter games: a contest of strength, speed, and cunning, where the winner takes all. One problem: Walter has never won before. Until he meets the strong woman of his dreams....

Katherine is an accomplished personal trainer who has lost her job due to Raymond's negligent business practices. When she flies into town to confront him, the last thing she expects is to become embroiled in a bitter feud between the brothers, where the outcome will determine the fate of everyone she loves.

While Katherine trains Walter for the competition, private coaching gives way to life-changing passion. Will Walter be strong enough to win the games...or will his brother's devious ways crush Walter's dreams?

Coaching the Bear is a short paranormal romance novella in the Bear Shifter Games series, a set of stand-alone stories that sizzle and satisfy. If you like steamy romance, muscle-bound shifters, and magical action, then you'll love AJ Tipton's breathtaking book.

Let this great story coach you

This is my fourth listen to and author and I love the PNR one . This was a great novella
The story is about Katherine and Walter. Love how the 2 connected .
There are 2 brothers that are do different. One just likes to take advantage of people . And one likes to earn things honestly. . That is where Katherine comes in. To train them for the company that will be in their name . They will be billionaires.

Audrey did a great work telling this story . Her voice is clear and smooth.

Bite-size paranormal romance

Despite being a novella, this book has a little of everything expected from a shifter romance. It has the elemental sex, the chemistry and the clash between shifters (though this presents itself in the form of a sport competition rather than a physical fight). AJ Tipton has even included some typical billionaire corporate romance aspects in the mix.

I suppose I like a little more of everything, especially the sexually charged tension between the protagonists. That said, this is a fun book to listen to if you want to sink your teeth into something short, paranormal and a little bit muddy!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

A Betting Bear..

Any additional comments?

Walter, the main lead, has a chance at saving the Family Business.

The story line picks up from there with a bet and some games.

I only wish that the story was a little longer, but,
Overall, an interesting read filled with a bit of adventure, hope and a second chance.

Audrey Lusk did well with the narration.

Any additional comments?

This audiobook was given to me for a honest unbiased review. This book was fun and sexy. I love Shifter romances, and this one was good start for a series. This was a great short story. Just long enough to help you relax, and unwind. Hope for more with these characters. Will put this author on my automatic read list.

Well Written and Wonderful Romance with Heart

Charming romance with a lot of heart, I really enjoyed Audrey and Walter's story. Surprises are here, but also wonderful chemistry between Audrey and Walter. Well written and highly recommend. This is a voluntary review of a copy gifted by the author.

Packs a punch for such a short story....

Although Coaching the Bear is a short novella, Tipton packs in a lot of plot in the small package. The shifter aspect is very minor, so all fans of romance would enjoy this book. Both the main characters, Katherine and Walter, are very strong and caring. Katherine doesn't do much growing in the book, but she definitely helps Walter grow in both ability and self-confidence. It is very touching to see him succeed over the villain of the story. Tipton paves the way for future books in the series, and I plan to listen to more.

Audrey Lusk does a good job with the narration. She adds the right level of emotion to the action scenes and the romantic moments. She does a better job with the female voices; her male voices are a little forced. Overall, this was an enjoyable audiobook.

Good novella

I was provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher, and/or narrator.

I have read this novella and I really enjoyed it. I hadn't yet read about bear shifters and this was a great start to the series. I liked the concept of the shifter games and the main characters were interesting. I didn't care for how quickly they fell in love, but it in no way affected how I felt about the story.

So with that being said, I did not like the narrator's voice for this book. The male speaking parts were bad and the sexy talk scenes were cringe-worthy. It sounded like maybe it was overdone and too dramatic.

So this was a good novella, but not so good narration.

Not for me

Really wanted to like this, but couldn't get into it. Characters felt flat and uninteresting. I did find the idea appealing but that's about where my interest ended. Didn't care for the narration, especially the male voices.

A Shifter Romance Unexpected Love

I received a copy of the audio book for a honest and voluntary review

Two brothers wanting control of the family business, one good and one bad. A challenge to physically compete I’d made and the good brother Walter is at a disadvantage having never won and a cheating brother. So he trains with Katherine a trainer to try to win
Short story that Moves along.
The narrator is ok but goes over the top on some of the voices and distracts for me.
