About this listen

Kendra Ames is a driven young producer in need of a bachelor for her reality show. When she meets Lee Sullivan, the retired captain of Lakes hockey team, they have an instant connection. After listening to Kendra’s pitch, Sully decides he would rather pursue her instead. However, when the show’s network makes him an offer for his dream job with a unique stipulation, he can’t refuse.

Soon after, Kendra discovers a twist of events and has to decide whether to keep her secret until the show ends or share the news with Sully and jeopardize both their careers.

Good book, definite daddy kink in this one (just to warn you), really liked the male narrator and the story was engaging

This audio! I can't describe how hot and delicious this audio is! Christian Fox gave his all in this and it was a fantastic listen! A must listen!

Great book I did however dislike the female narrator, she didn’t sound natural a lot of the time when speaking - sounded more like she was concentrating on slowly enunciating her words rather than just playing the character haven’t listened to her before so can’t tell if it’s productions fault for editing her weirdly or not.

Warning; It’s big on the daddy shmink in case that’s not your thing

Loved it

I was genuinely excited to dive into Coach Sully after enjoying the Lakes Hockey series. It contained lots of elements I usually enjoy: sports romance, workplace tension, and my favourite, the pregnancy or secret baby trope. I know I’m in the minority on that one, but when it’s developed throughout the story rather than sprung on us at the end, I’m completely here for it.
That said, I struggled with the emotional depth between the characters. For all the setup, forced proximity, reality TV chaos, and the big secret, I was hoping for stronger growth and connection in Sully and Kendra’s relationship. Their bond felt a bit surface-level, and while Sully clearly cared for her, I wanted more layers to their journey together.
The ‘daddy’ kink was heavily emphasised, and for me, it felt repetitive pretty quickly.
Highlights:
No third-act breakup (which honestly I don't hate)
The pregnancy arc was well-paced and felt meaningful rather than a late twist.
Sully was sweet and protective.
