I really enjoyed this book. It was a very easy listen. Silas and Pansy found each other in part of their most chaotic and unsure time of life. In the process of finding each other, they also found their selves along the way. If you enjoy classic romance with a dash of Rockstar then I suggest you give this book a listen.

The Storyline was different to the usual rock star books i usually read. I found the characters endearing and likeable. The main storyline is focused more on the toll it takes on the members of the band and how hard it is to find someone genuine And not just a gold digger. Excellent performance from both Callie and Jacob.

Silas and Pansy’s relationships full of drama and laughter with some good chemistry, with family tensions
I found the character descriptions , brilliantly written . The relationship is fast moving and I found myself wanting them to get their happy ever after. It had the perfect balance of romance and drama with some light-hearted comedic moments mixed in too.
I would definitely recommend this book

I first read Clutch in 2017 when it was a standalone and said then that I felt there was the opportunity to develop the story into a series. So boy was I happy when this became reality and we would get to discover the stories of the other band members. There are now 4 books in the series and I decided I needed to re-join Pansy and Silas before bingeing on the other books. And having recently discovered a love for audio books whilst working, I jumped at the chance to listen to Clutch in audio and I'm so glad I did because listening to the story took me on a whole different journey that was just as addictive and beautiful.

Everything I said in my previous review of the Kindle version still stands. It's a story about self discovery and finding love when you least expect it. You won't be able stop reading (or listening in this case) and it's more than just your typical rockstar romance. As for the audio version, I love the dual POV from male and female perspectives, and the actors selected have the perfect voices which will carry you away as you lose track of time and become consumed in the story. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series and I have the next 2 books downloaded and ready to go.

Silas and Pansy’s journey to happily ever after is sweet, sexy, and fraught with family tensions and hard decisions. I loved the slow burn storyline with just the right amount of angst. The characters are a fantastic mix and I’m very much looking forward to reading about the next band member. Clutch is the first book in the exciting Trojan series and you won’t want to miss it! Great narrators too!
