    "DANCING AWAY WITH CHARLES"
Where does To Any Dead Officer rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

All of these free poetry readings have high ranking in my Audible.UK collection. These are a pleasure to listen to read by some of my favourite actors who bring out the best in these poems many of which I would not have paid any attention.

What did you like best about this story?

I have studied the facts of the First World War from the points of views of all those involved, the Mums & Dads, Grandma & Grandads the Brothers & Sisters, Aunts & Uncles, Friends & Enemies. Soldiers & Girlfriends, Nurses & Doctors, and it reaks of SADNESS UNBELIEVABLE PAIN & DEATH - LIKE ALL WARS. But WW1 sticks in my mind and this reading captures it all quite well.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Oh yes, I have an emotional reaction each time I listen to this poem. It brings home the horrors of each individual trapped in the evils of war.

    Any additional comments?

Thank you Audible for these free poetry readings. I have them all. Wonderfully read by the cream of British Actors.
