Enjoyable but short

This was a high quality audio production and dramatisation of a much loved classic, fully realised by the BBC. The settings are perfectly immersive when the adventurers arrive at the lost world plateau with beautiful creature noises for the prehistoric animals. The cast is also well chosen and their voice acting perfectly conveys the tension and suspense that is within the original story, and nerdy fans may recognise Jamie Glover, the voice of Darth Malgus plays the unflappable Lord Roxton who accompanies Challenger along with Irish reporter Malone and rival determined scientist Diana Summerlee.
My only complaint about this was that it felt too short, and I finished this within two walks. Good as a short and sweet adventure piece with dinosaurs and pterosaurs and encounters with terrifying apemen, but may not fill the palates of more devoted audio production and dramatisation fans.
Overall, I would rate this a solid 8/10 and recommend this for listeners on short train journeys.

A very good dramatization, nice actors. I read the book years ago and this was a very good reminder. I recommend it
