Lasciando quindi al lettore/ascoltatore il gradito onere di farsi da sé una sua opinione, si può dire soltanto che questo romanzo occupò cinque anni di lavoro continuo dell’autore, da 1865 al 1869, che è ambientato nella campagna di Russia di Napoleone, e che tema portante di tutta la scrittura è il rapporto tra libero arbitrio e necessità, sia nella vita personale dei suoi personaggi, che nella dimensione collettiva degli eventi storici. Non il capolavoro

Forse un libro sopravvalutato nelle recensioni che ho letto. Mi è sembrato un 'capolavoro forzato', ho sentito poca naturalezza e molta, troppa, costruzione ragionata dei dialoghi e delle storie dei personaggi. Mi è piaciuto molto di più Anna Karenina.
Narrazione ottima come sempre, gli intermezzi musicali fastidiosi perché con volume diverso dalla narrazione.

Non una buona edizione

Fruscio di sottofondo durante tutta la lettura.
Intermezzi musicali a un volume esagerato, immaginate che ogni 10 minuti dopo che le vostre orecchie sono abituate a un volume X ci sia un pezzo di musica classica a un volume X+100 con qualità audio simil citofono. non credo che continuerò l'ascolto.
