A must have

Where does Anne of Green Gables rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Anne of Green Gables is a family favorite. I love having it on audio for my daugher to listen to. She isn't old enough to read the book, but loves to listen to it and draw.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Anne of course!

Wonderful! Much better than the movie!

I loved this book so much. I only saw the video of this story as a young person and while the movie was entertaining, it impressed me as being only about a sassy little orphan with a knack for getting herself in trouble and vexing everyone else in the process. The movie left out the character building lessons Anne learned with each calamity, and the overarching hand of providence that worked to see her through. Every young girl should find this book on her school's required reading list.

Moving

Truly brought alive. I enjoyed it even more than I had when I read it the first time (too many years ago to reveal).

I've loved this story since I was a child

My first time meeting Anne of Green Gables was as a very young girl in the form of a condensed and beautifully illustrated storybook. I then read much of the series as a teen.

The opportunity to revisit L.M.Montgomery's book was a pleasant surprise when it was chosen as my bookclubs monthly read. And I am so happy it did. I enjoyed the story as much, maybe even more than in the years before.

Susie Berneis did a wonderful job. It was narrated and performed beautifully. I both laughed and cried while listening.

Great Narration

Great Narration by Susie Berneis. I loved the voices she used for the characters. All the kids ages 4-11 enjoyed this book. I most especially.
