Beautiful Classic re-mastered

I was delighted to find this, as I had once owned the original LP. Any who love this classic Dickens tale will be thrilled at the sensitive blended with instrumental and choral tracks; likewise, any who love the Vaughan Williams Fantasia of a theme of Tallis and arrangements of carols by David Willcox (made so famous in 'Carols for Choirs' will the cantata formed in this lovely piece. Those with poetic or theatrical leanings will glee over this rendition by Bernard Miles. Just one or two lines from the primitive stereo (or mono?) recording have been almost lost in the remastering of the original soundtrack, and some of the choral styles, even vowel sounds, are very dated, but the overall result is a 'must have' for the Christmas season.
