Epic conclusion

This is the third book in the series and concludes the events set in motion by the two previous books. Jace and Clary must come to terms with their past in order to win in the present. This is a tale of love and sacrifice stunningly told by the Author. Every sentence is lovingly crafted. For anyone who has taken these amazing characters to their hearts, this book is a sheer delight, and the excellent narration is just the icing on the cake.

The wickedness of Sebastian.

I wasn’t impressed with the way the narrator tried to change her voice for each of the characters. Sometimes I couldn’t tell who was talking. But I really love this saga with its twists and turns in the plot.

Better than twilight is the best thing I can say

I started listening to the series because I watched the movie and - even though I didn't like that either - I had to know what happens next.
The story draws from very popular myths/ legends/ folklore/ religious beliefs & as such it will momentarily hold some interest. The characters though don't have much depth to them. Of course I am much older than the characters & therefore teenage angst just makes me roll my eyes a lot. And this is another thing I do not get... What is this obsession with adults writing stories about children in toxic romantic relationships? I can only imagine it's because they sell. Also the narrators, for the first 3 books at least, are pretty
bad too, in my opinion.
Hope others enjoy it more than me...

Amazing!

I loved this book, it was full of suspense and the story line keeps the listener hooked. By far my favourite moment is when Valentine raises the Angel, however your not expecting what happens next which makes this even more exciting. I'm so glad Cassie Clare didn't keep this as a trilogy, there's so much more madness, mayhem and twists to find out about yet. Can't wait to read the next one. The narrator did a fantastic job reading this too, she's very calming and makes it easy to relax and get lost in the story!
