Janet Coplin
This book of poetry by Janet Coplin brings her latest observations of life’s experiences, especially the seemingly mundane as she has encountered them in various locations. Several of them are laced with humor and a tip of the hat to the author O. Henry with some unexpected endings. These poems offer perspectives on the world around us and preserve moments of serendipity. Circling back to some of the experiences in our lives can be a way to better understand them. A former political science professor, she strays outside the lines of political science and academia into the nuanced, gentle, even witty expressions to enrich our understanding of our lives and increase our own powers of observation.
