Özet

Everyone has secrets, but when those secrets are discovered and used against them, it can only lead to trouble.

Detective Inspector Ken "Chunky" Mason finds himself trapped between a rock and a hard place when history and current events conspire against him. A dead body, blackmail, conflicts of interest. He’s almost at the end of his tether, when events take an unexpected twist.

In this, the third short-reads murder mystery by J.J. Kennard, we follow Chunky as he navigates his way through difficult times, threats to his career, and possible imprisonment.

I’m loving these books 3rd one down and “FOR ME” they are perfect in length, they have a full story line and continue on each book, I absolutely love them and I’m pleased I found them!
I cannot fault them, I especially love the narrator who brings it together so amazingly!

Fabulous if you haven’t heard them you should

The third book in the Short Read Murder Mysteries series. Each book centres on a particular character from the same police department of the 1970's. Once again this tale revolves around the character in the title, Chunky Mason, who has a dark secret which makes him vulnerable. Well written and an enjoyable read/listen.

Tony Parton gives a good performance as the narrator.
