Summary

Christmas is a time for peace, love, and family. Right?

Wrong. Some people prefer chaos.

FBI Special Agent Megan Luchek travels to Philadelphia with her partner, Daniel Cooper, for a law enforcement conference on battling terrorism. She never makes it. Instead, she ends up investigating an actual threat with an unlikely ally.

Cassandra Mirren prefers working alone, but she’s been ordered to bring Agent Luchek along for the ride. Their last encounter was adversarial, but this time they have a common foe.

Good read / listen

Julie did another great job. There is a surprize and a good suspense for Cadsandra and Megan. I recommend this to anyone who has read the first couple of books and this can also be read as a stand alone.

More great suspense

Another great suspense with well developed characters. This book has more action and slightly more intense situations. There was a little bit of religious aspects but not too heavy on Christmas. I don’t usually read Christmas or religious stories but this story was a lot more action thriller so I was able to get past the topics I don’t like.

A unique twist in the adventure

Agent Megan Scott and her partner are supposed to go to a conference to learn more about battling terrorism. Instead she is teamed up with an assassin to help save many lives. The unlikely team must find a way to work together before it is too late. I enjoyed this twist for Agent Megan, instead of always running with the good guys. Megan must fight her inner mistrust of the assassin in order to achieve the goal. The banter and struggle kept me hooked and I listened until the end. These stories should be read in order because they do continue where the other left off. Liz Brand is quickly becoming a favorite narrator. The consistency she has kept through this series is perfect. Her voice is easy to listen to. She keeps the story flowing smoothly and brings it to life. Overall, this was a great narration.

Good story

Christmas.Makes.It.Chaos...Juliet Gilbert We meet Cassandra again, she prefers to work alone. But orders to work with the FBI Agent Scott. He is wondering what trouble she will be bring into this assignment. A time at Christmas, and they have terrorists. As they reflect on the difference they have of Christmas. The narration was good, the judge voice wasn’t the best I thought. Given audio ARC for my voluntary review and my honest.
