Summary

Flirty with a dash of suspense.
Initially this story is filled to the brim with flirty foreplay. The two main characters, Lacy and Brandon, seem to struggle with their attraction that is made more complicated by their working relationship. Basically, Brandon is Lacy's boss's boss. Just when their verbal foreplay and blatant attraction seems to be reaching a crescendo, though it is unclear whether they will achieve fulfilment, the plot morphs into an online hacking based suspense.
The story is cheeky and fun, but also has an emotional element which makes the characters more likable. For a relatively short, easy-to-listen-to audiobook, there is a lot going on. It definitely keeps the reader engaged even if the listener is cringing a little at Lacy's antics.

Love these Christmas nuggets!
Rachelle Ayala keeps the Christmas spirit alive with this fun and flirty story of Lacy Reed and Brandon Cole. Lacy, or better known as Racy Lacy has had her cloud hacked and some compromising pictures are sent to her boss Brandon. Brandon is a broody, secretive man and though tantalized by these pictures and the woman, does his best to avoid Lacy. There is much to these two characters, their pasts hold them back from what happiness they can find. But will this Christmas be different? Ayala weaves a plot of jealousy, greed and love that will keep the earbuds in your ears to see if "Cole" is what Lacy will get for Christmas this year. With an entertaining supporting cast, I look forward to see what the next in this series will bring.
Earbuds in, I always am hoping that the narration will bring the story to life. The narration team of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel never disappoint me, and with this story in particular, they bring the joy of the holidays to the forefront. I especially loved Charley Ongel's portrayal of Brandon's mother, what a fun and quirky character!
