Fantastic

A great, short listen you can complete in a single sitting. Well acted, good sound effects, and a compelling story that sees two Khorne war bands clashing (so lots of blood).

A fantastic listen for any Warhammer 40K fan

A brilliant, quick audio drama that's very well acted and put together. A brutal, simple story yet with some nuance; a little peek behind the frenzy of the World Eaters in the 41st millennium. Excellent depiction of Kharn.. Chris Fairbank has indelibly made the part his own.

A must listen for fans of the World Eaters especially, Chaos Space Marines or indeed Warhammer 40K in general.

Blood for the Blood God.

This audiobook is spectacular, there was no confusion only horror and glorious violence. It was everything I expected a book about Khorne's chosen to be.

He Cares Not From Whence The Blood Flows...

Really epic listen! A short and sweet or rather short and gruesome look into the betrayers mind. Sound effects and music as well as the performances created brilliant immersion that took me to another world whilst painting.

The very best of Anthony Reynolds

By far one of, if not THE BEST Warhammer Audiobook that i've listened to, time and time again. It's indepth detailing of the chaos world and the characterisation and development of the blood-luster known as Kharn The Betrayer (The hint's in the name!) is something that went over my head, infiltrated my imagination.....and all i could see was blood.

10/10 - A former chaos player.

Magnificent!

One of the best short stories black library has provided so far. Compelling performance, excellent story building, cool characters and some truly phenomenal combat.

Bloodsoaked in fun

This particular novel created an ambience like no other one I've read. The background music, sound effects, and voice actors all cooperated to produce a delightful setting that I could feel. My only quibble is that not much really happens, just an all out battle soaked in gore, but what else did I expect from Khorne's chosen?

Absolute Favorite!

Great chapter for Kharn the Betrayed and his degradation after the Horus Heresy. Question I always ask myself is what if The Emperor had of helped Angron initially on his home world. Even with the nails could he have been a great assets and loyal son and would Kharn be one of the great hero's of old?

Blood for the Blood God!

Kharn is one of my favorite 40k characters. This tale is a Kharn fan's dream. Lots of action (duh...it's Kharn afterall!) and this is Khornate on Khornate violence.

The voice actors are great. When I first heard Kharn's voice, I was surprised as that wasn't how I had imagined it. Now, it seems perfect for the character. If there are more Kharn audio books, hopefully they'll use this same actor.

Great story, good performance.

Fantastic bit of WE depth, and Khârn always makes a good story. The performance was excellent, especially regarding the differences between Khârn's murder-fantasies and his actions. The sound effects, however, were a little jarring at times.
