I didn’t finish the book as I couldn’t understand the narration

Probably an interesting book but the narrators voice was very difficult to understand so I didn’t finish the book as this spoiled it for me and I couldn’t follow it

great book, ruined by the reader

a classic novel with a great storyline rendered useless by a reader who not only mispronounced words to the extent that I was left confused as to what they should have been but also neglected to pause at the appropriate times to indicate character changes ( which could not be deciphered by voice as he maintained the same monotone throughout the story).
if you want this book in audio format, don't buy this one.

Treasure Island

i enjoyed this book when i read it as a child, but found this audio version stilted and the pronunciation of some words difficult. I won't be listening to it again.

Incomprehensible narration

The narration is incomprehensible - not worth even trying to follow the story as you have to concentrate so hard just to understand it
Story rating is based on the book rather than the audible
