In this fun and silly story, a cane toad discovers the true meaning of Christmas when he sets out to improve human attitudes toward his warty brethren. Author Morris Gleitzman performs the tale in a pleasant voice with just the right touch of dramatic intensity, and the musical interludes between chapters are enjoyable. A great seasonal story for teaching kids about being kind to animals.
