Summary

The god Apollo, cast down to earth and trapped in the form of a gawky teenage boy as punishment, must set off on the second of his harrowing (and hilarious) trials. He and his companions seek the ancient oracles - restoring them is the only way for Apollo to reclaim his place on Mount Olympus - but this is easier said than done. Somewhere in the American Midwest is a haunted cave that may hold answers for Apollo in his quest to become a god again...if it doesn't kill him or drive him insane first.

Standing in Apollo's way is the second member of the evil Triumvirate - a Roman emperor whose love of bloodshed and spectacle makes even Nero look tame. To survive the encounter, Apollo will need the help of a now-mortal goddess, a bronze dragon, and some familiar demigod faces from Camp Half-Blood. With them by his side, can Apollo face down the greatest challenge of his 4,000 years of existence?

Amazing

Hallarious !😀 good length. Make sure you have read the previous or it will not make sence. Also helps if you have read Percy Jacksons and heros of Olympus

🤩Yes!🤩

This is the most amazing sequel ever. Most as Apollo being a mortal, and meg the ‘raggamuffin dumpster queen’ enjoy their new adventures, There are lots more characters involved, old and new, more enemies, allies and friends to be made and waaay more funny puns and quips too! Very enjoyable! Five stars! I’d recommend reading the first one though. The book will make a lot more sense. 🤪 Bye!

Amazing not easy to stop listening too

This book was filled with humour, easy to think of Apollo, being human and learning to cope with life’s problems. Can’t wait for book 3, and Apollo to get his powers back, will he be a changed God, hope so.

What a shame there can not be 4 titles released every month! I know it would take all of rich presents and a darn site more authors but I love the family and want to know what's going to happen next! amazing that's all I can say!

ok not that great

at least the narrator is better than Jesse Bernstein.
the street isn't that great but worth a listen.
it annoys me how political correct the books have become. these books are for kids, Apollo and other characters have sahte sex relationships. that ruined the story for me.

Narrator

In my opinion what also makes a book an enjoyable read / listen is the narrator and this gentleman was excellent
