Summary

Lara, or GM451 as she is known by the government, was a highly trained special agent, bred by the British Secret Service for use on dangerous missions around the world. Even in retirement, Lara's sharp spy instincts always give her a nose for mystery. There's more to the Cook's holiday than meets the eye, and it's down to Lara to sniff it out.

Dog that can act like a human?

My boys (aged 5 & 7) enjoyed this - largely I think due to the fact it has children and spying in.

I found it all a bit of a stretch. Dog surfing? OK. Dog climbing ladder? Umm ok but no thumbs. Dog riding motorbike? Sigh, you've lost me.

I think it was a good book for the age of the audience. Not ideal for adults who have to listen too. Can't wait for them to get into more complicated books so I can enjoy them as well.
