Summary

Finty Williams reads this warm, funny, and moving sequel to Jacqueline Wilson’s hugely acclaimed Hetty Feather.

Hetty Feather was given her name when she was left at the Foundling Hospital as a baby. But she always longed to be named after her incredible sapphire-blue eyes. When she is reunited with her mother, she hopes her new name, Sapphire Battersea, will also mean a new life. But things don’t always go as planned....

Follow the twists and turns of Hetty’s adventures as she begins work. She longs to be reunited with her dear Jem, but also finds a new friend, Bertie the butcher’s boy. Despite her hopes for the future, Hetty’s life seems likely to take a darker path. Can she cope with the trials ahead?

A fantastic story set in Victorian times that Jacqueline Wilson fans will adore. You can join the official Jacqueline Wilson fan club at: www.jacquelinewilson.co.uk.

Brilliant

I am 26 years old and thoroughly enjoyed this book. Me and a friend read and listen to Wilson even now, well into adulthood, such a touching and powerful story, I can't wait to read the next!

Amazing, loved it so so much!

Heartfelt, nearly cried when I listened about her mother dying, I love the hetty feather series and this is by far one of my favourite Jacqueline Wilson books!

I enjoyed it 😁

I enjoyed it so much, it's exciting but sad in parts my favourite part was the end but that might just be because I like sad books.

Many of emotions.

Story and narrator really caught me well and got me in loads of anger with hetty. Crying along with hetty. Demanding with her what she should do. Really lovely ❤️❤️
