Summary

Dorothea considers it a disgrace that one of her children has the white saddle-shaped patch on his bottom, and not on his back.

Life doesn't look too promising for 'Saddlebottom', until he runs away from home and meets a very unusual cat. With the aid of a ginger tom named Bendigo, he proves his mother wrong.

Excellent

I have loved this story since I was a child originally had it on audio cassette so even now as an adult I still get enjoyment out of the story. It’s well written and well read by Nigel Lambert, I highly recommend this audiobook.
