Five Are Together Again (21)

Yes, this was to be the twenty-first and indeed the final 'Five' adventure in Blyton's superlative series. Once again our plucky Five, who due to an outbreak of Scarlet Fever in Kirrin Cottage, are forced to stay with their friend Tinker, the only child of one of Uncle Quentin's scientist peers. Cue: camping, a circus, a mysterious tower, stolen blueprints and more primates than you can shake a banana at. All in all, a spiffing time was had by all.

Ann Beach is an excellent narrator and performs each and every character with aplomb.
