Interesting tale

Stephen Fry gives another impeccable performance. An interesting take on the Father Christmas legend. Very definitely a Father Xmas rather than a Saint Nicholas

Good bit of escapismn

loved it
I was poorly so lay in bed for two days listening to light hearted books - or should I say slept thru

I realise it's a children book, but any story with magic and hope is a joy to hear. Stephen Fry always reads stories well and is a soothing voice to listen to.

Always love a happy ending

As ever Stephen Fry is a wonderful narrator.
I know this is a children's story, but we all need a little magic and childishness in our lives.
A lovely few hours listening

Great Christmas short story

listen to this book over Christmas on long car journeys to visit family. Its kept the little people (7 &12) and the big people fully enthralled. Loved the characters Blitzen and the truth pixie. Stephen Fry has done a superb job of narration. Can't fault a modern classic that needs to be turned into a Christmas film
