Summary

Nothing cures a case of the doldrums faster than a terrifying murder…

Mystery writer and dabbling amateur sleuth, Sophie Katz, knows her career and her fiery love affair with P.I. boyfriend, Anatoly Darinsky can survive anything except decaf and boredom. So, when Anatoly passes up a mysterious stalker case, Sophie decides to take it on herself, just for the drama of it all.

But when people involved in the case start dying under suspicious circumstances and the stalker sets his sights on Sophie what started as a recreational undertaking quickly becomes an obsession. Is art and passion really worth risking your life for? And if not, will Sophie to walk away before it’s too late?

From the New York Times and USA Today best-selling author of Just One Night; and Sex, Murder and a Double Latte; and Chaos, Desire & a Kick-Ass Cupcake is another stand-alone addition to the Sophie Katz series which Cosmopolitan calls a “high octane hook-up” and Detroit Free Press calls “…snappy and spine-tingling.” Don’t miss out on this latest adventure.

Another fantastic pairing between K. Davis and G. Zackman

I will be honest, I was a little skeptical about this book being as good as the other Sophie Katz novels since it has been awhile since the last one was published. I need not have worried at all though. This book was fantastic and leaves you wanting the next installment very badly. I'm sure I'm not the only person saying this...can't wait for the next one Kyra Davis!!

Might be the best

I am a fan and this book did not disappoint. All the characters are full of zest and their own personality. Kyra Davis has a great way of adding fun twists and turns and bringing in things you didn’t even know you were expecting. Don’t wait! Listen to the book!! Gabra Zackman IS Sophie Katz!! She is funny and witty and definitely makes you feel like you are hanging out. I loved ever second and i can’t wait for the next!!

Sophie Katz is Back

This is one of my favorite cozy mystery series. Like the previous books in the series, this one does not disappoint. Sophie is realistic, fun and a little crazy. I enjoyed her interactions with Deena, Maryanne, Jason and Anatoly. The story was fast paced with several twists and turns throughout the book. I enjoyed listening to Gabra Zackman. She brought the characters to life and enhanced the listening experience. My only complaint is that I have to wait for another book.

So glad to have Sophie back!

As a long time fan of the Sophie Katz series I'm so glad to have a new book to enjoy. Nice twists and turns in the book much like we've come to expect from one of Kyra Davis' Sophie Katz series. Can't wait to find out what Sophie's next adventure will be.

Maybe it’s time for Sophie to move forward.

The book was certainly entertaining. However it seems that maybe Sophie needs to move forward. I just didn’t enjoy this book as much as I did the others.

Kyra Davis did not disappoint. I love Sofie and her band of misfits. This story had me guessing until the end. Please don't wait so long to bring back another adventure.

AwesomeSauce! Can’t wait for the next one!!

Freaking brilliant! This book was so well done! Great characters, good timing and unpredictable suspense. A one day listening fest. I can usually guess the endings but not with Ms. Sophie!

Missed Sophie Katz

How I've missed Sophie Katz. And her cast of characters. This book was ok but the story line was a little weak and her characters were a little soft. They didn't seem to have the edge of her previous books. But I enjoyed listening to the book anyway.

What fun!

Great characters and banter, interesting plot with pharmaceutical dark side. Sophie never quite grows up. Worth the credit.
