This Audio-Book Gives Useful Information

4 books in 1, is perfect to understand the world of chakras and yoga nidra. Yoga nidra literally means “yogic sleep,” and it’s a technique in which one systematically pursues a high degree of relaxation. Still, it’s a bit of a misnomer in that one doesn’t actually fall asleep. In theory, that is, most practitioners will have the experience of falling asleep at some point in practice. That’s because one is entering a hypnagogic state in which one is on the leading edge of falling asleep. It’s not always easy to stay on one side of that line (without being excessively mentally aroused.) The practice is typically done with a teacher who verbally instructs the students (live or via a recording) —because it’s quite hard to keep the sequence straight without an excessively high level of mental arousal— particularly for new practitioners. This book is divided in four parts: book 1 and 2 are on chakras,it discusses Chakra Healing methods including essential oils, food, meditation and yoga, among others. Is included a section on physical symptoms and their links with the different Chakras. Book 3 and 4 are on yoga nidra meditations, on how to ward off depression with this practice, on how to harness yoga nidra and mindfulness for self-growth, and more. The book 4 is on micro-meditations that can be done at any time with eyes wide open, on a contemporary version of ancient methods to navigate your yoga nidra consciousness, on methods to liberate difficult mental and emotional states...this is a complete bundle

Required Listening for Everyone

This bundle is a life changer! I bought this book from Emily after I bought others from her collection and I always feel very pleased. There is a term in Sanskrit to indicate the opening of the chakras. It is shatchakrabedha or shatchakra - bedha, which is written in the Tantra of the Great Liberation. According to this text, opening the chakras means allowing kundalini, the energy that dwells at the base of the vertebral column, to go up to samadhi or the supreme union with the Divine. Here I would recommend listening to both this book and the one on the kundalini and on the third eye awakening of the same collection in order to have a complete picture of the arguments covered, it has helped me a lot

Helpful in Explaining

Most of us already know that the practice of meditation is a way to reduce stress, sleep better, and experience less anxiety. While this is true, meditation can be so much more. In this book, Emily Clark shows you how to go deeper still, past all of the things that are weighing you down, either mentally or physically or emotionally, so you can see beyond the veils which have been defining you to Who You Really Are. We all identify ourselves with labels – parent, child, friend, etc - but those are just labels that tell what we do, what role we play. But who is playing those roles? Through the practice of Yoga Nidra, we begin to see beyond those veils to our essential nature, how beautiful it is, how whole it is, even how wonderful it is. I know we don’t usually think of ourselves in those terms, but that is because of all of the things that have colored our experience here. It is only when we can look beyond those experiences that we begin to wake up, that we begin to be aware of our essential nature, even our eternal nature, and that is what Emily helps us learn how to do through her book. Gently, and with great compassion she shows you how to begin moving through the layers that hide your fundamental wholeness so you can experience the increasingly subtle layers of your being. it's a great audio

Great Resource

I started practicing Yoga Nidra at my yoga studio at the beginning of the year. My teacher recommended this book. The book is beautiful and lays out many steps of Yoga Nidra in a way that is accessible and easy to follow. I am enjoying going through the book and recording each practice, learning more about the process, and myself. If you haven't practiced Yoga Nidra this is a beautiful intro. If you practice regularly it will add depth to your practice.

Great Book With Great Insight

If a person experiences negative emotions and cannot enjoy the joys of life, the cause is an alteration of the circulation of energy flows and the blockage of the chakras I can confirm that it is true, I have experienced it on me and that's why I chose to buy Emily's book. She talks extensively about the 7 chakras and how they can be unlocked, while in the second part of the book she deals with meditation, yoga and diet. Recommended

Perfect Audiobook

First i want to say... this book is filled with information. Not only does it have information on chakras and what exactly that is but tells you how to balance, activate energy flow and more. It tells you what correspondences for each chakra... oils, herbs etc. and yes it is the ultimate guide

A Wonderful Guide

Very useful information that helped me as ever! I had the root chakra blocked, the muladhara, I often felt exhausted and tired and with the help of traditional medicine I had not solved anything, until I started doing breathing exercises that stimulate the diaphragmatic area. Now I feel much better thanks to the author's advice, gives a global picture on the whole topic, as well as advising what to do to achieve psycho-physical wellness, from the use of some oils, to herbs, to specific foods.

Perfect for Beginners

I recommend this book to people of any ability, whether they have done yoga before or not. The book will force you to reflect on your own person and will provide you meditations that can fit into a lunch break or can be done after dinner - whatever fits your schedule best. In addition, rest assured that people of any fitness level can participate and successfully complete this workbook. I do recommend purchasing a yoga mat; I tend to leave the yoga mat in one specific spot in the house and that is my dedicated space to relax and where I can meditate whenever I feel overwhelmed and need to take a break.

Wonderful book for beginners. Will help you build confidence to explore chakra balancing and the power of crystal healing. Great book, totally recommend!
