I love this novel and I want to listen to the rest of the series. The narrator is very good but he;s English and the novel is set in New Zealand. It sounds wrong when he reads the New Zealand English.

I’m not sure that I disliked anything. It was odd that the accents were English and Irish when the setting was in New Zealand, but the narration seems to work well for the characters.
The story is original and a bit crazy but it kept me listening.
The protagonist is complex - gives the impression of being on the side of the angels but also out of control and dangerous - capable of anything you feel to find his own kind of justice. Each time he crosses a line I kind of gasped. And maybe that’s the appeal.

went on a bit but a good story, shame about the use off dollars on at least 3 occasions in what was supposed to be a British story, accents were good and narrator was good.
