Summary

Can he make her fall in love with him…again? When Pagan Moore proved worthy of Death's devotion, he was given the gift of getting to keep her. But Dank was never promised that Pagan would keep him. When a soul is created, so is its mate. In every lifetime those souls find each other. They complete the other's destiny. It's time for Pagan's soul to choose if she truly wants an eternity at Death's side or if she wants the mate created just for her. Dank didn't think he had to worry about her choice. He knew where her heart belonged. Until he realized that every kiss, every touch, every moment of their time together would be washed from her memories. He would have to win her heart all over again and prove to her soul that he was where she belonged. If only her soul's mate wasn't right there standing in his way.

Another winner

Any additional comments?

Just when I thought it was all going so well, pagan and Dank are thrown another curveball! Pagan's memory is wiped and Dank has to earn her love. It killed me having to watch Dank try to win back Pagan's loved when I know they were so perfectly matched. Of course we have Leif trying to take back what he believes to be his. Got to say, Dank just gets sexier and sexier. Fantastic end to the series.

Not well thought out

I felt like I was done with the series until I read the summary of this book. Pegan loses her memory and now two men fight for her! Sounded too good to pass up. But the author really botched the opportunity in my opinion. Instead of giving pegan this new really amazing guy to fight for her she gets... (minor spoiler alert) her same high school boyfriend who can’t keep his thing in his pants. How is this a competition at all? I felt like the whole book was used to extend the series in the same cringe worthy over the top romanticism as the rest of the books.

Great book, nails on chalkboard narrator

This series is great! I enjoyed it immensely, but listening to this narrator attempt to change her voice for the different characters is painful. Except for the voices of Dank and Pagan the rest are high pitched, screechy, almost unbearable to listen to. The voice of best friend, Miranda, is especially grating on the nerves. It's a cross between Betty Boop and a low budget cartoon voice of a fairy. Attempting to listen seriously makes me want to sit the narrator in a classroom and run my fingernails down the chalkboard for hours upon hours. What was she thinking?

Liked the series overall.

Liked the series overall. I could have done without the song lyrics, the repetition of them was annoying to me, although I understand that the lead male character was a singer and maybe the author was trying to show his artistic/romantic broody side through them. Narrator did a wonderful job differentiating character voices, although the friend's voice was grating and shrill.

great story, annoying screechy narration

Would you consider the audio edition of Ceaseless to be better than the print version?

No way. The narrator doesn't understand that bubbly and young doesn't mean high pitched and screeching and so very annoying.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Ceaseless?

Dunno

How did the narrator detract from the book?

With distorted screeching and giggling

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

None

Good story line

If you can get past the high pitched vocals of Miranda and the cringing singing, the story line is pretty good. I just fast forwarded through the song lyrics.

Story is Great narrator is not

I listened to all three books in this series and am not sure how many times I almost quit due to the narrator. She made two of the main supporting characters screechy and irritating. I would absolutely listen to these books again providing they were narrated by someone else. The only thing that kept me listening was that I really wanted a happy ending for the main characters, the story was interesting and different from my usual. I would read/listen to this author again but only with a different narrator.

Loved the story. Hated the narrator

The story was great. The whole series really kept me captivated despite the horrible narrator. Every female voice was whiny and high pitched. It would’ve been awesome with a different narrator or at least normal voices.

I listened to them one after the other

I didn’t love the performers voice on the high squeaky voices. The story line was a bit a more angst the I like but it was entertaining.

Enjoyed it

I loved this story but the narrator for Miranda was painful and annoying. Enough to make me want to just read it instead of listen. Other than that, the series is really good and not too graphic.
