About this listen

Just as Alex Cross is beginning to feel that life is good and he is finally coming out of the depression he's been in since the death of his wife, he is called to Union Station train terminal - a man is on the loose, firing at random into the swarming crowds of travellers. Critic reviews

Praise for James Patterson: 'Ticks like a time bomb - full of threat and terror
Brilliantly terrifying...so exciting I had to stay up all night to finish it
If there really were human superheroes, Alex Cross would be at the head of the class...and, with each instalment in the series, Patterson makes sure his superhero gets bigger and better while at the same time becomming more vulnerable.

Really am enjoying the Alex Cross series. Great story which could be read as a 1 off but better when read in series.
Only thing I would change, as it really put me off was the music, very cringey and not needed.

Great book

The music is most distracting. Ruins the flow and intensity of the storyline and characters.
