Giusto vive nelle ristrettezze, ma con quel misto di rassegnazione e buon umore che gli sembra congenito. La commedia si sviluppa tra una malattia, una convalescenza, un testamento scritto per scherzo e un notaio succube di una moglie chiacchierona.
