Summary

Sci-fi meets eco-fiction in this simply amazing story about the world we know and don't know. A gripping fast-paced adventure that involves a growing relationship between a baby right whale named Otis and the young marine biologist, Carly, that can read his mind. This high seas adventure involves many of the modern issues we all face, from the destruction of our seas, the politicians who shield the acts of destruction, and how the system can be changed with a little guts.

Surprisingly enjoyable

Been waiting to read for a while having spoken to the author through a mutual interest for sometime. Being in the UK my knowledge of the plight of right whales was zero but having listened to the audiobook at work have been 'googling' a little since . Narration was excellent, held my attention throughout a couple of shifts at work and felt the storyline was a good way to highlight the plight.
