After the Priesthood wipes out my family, I find myself kidnapped and held prisoner by the head of the Bratva—a man as charming as he is terrifying.

My days are filled with chaotic emotions and fear. With time, I realize Viktor Vetrov wants more than just my obedience. He wants all of me, but I refuse to fall for his filthy promises of ecstasy.

The instant I gain my freedom, I run straight back to the Cosa Nostra. But I quickly learn that there are worse monsters in the world than the one who held me captive.

With no family left, choices are made for me. None are in my best interest. I’m forced to marry a man twice my age who doesn’t have a gentle side.

I only have one hope—Viktor Vetrov—but asking the head of the Bratva to save me will leave me indebted to him.

Do I give myself to the old monster who will use and abuse me, or do I give myself to the attractive devil who wiped out my family?

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Michelle Heard, comes a new standalone, full-length Russian Bratva romance novel.

This book is intended for mature listeners.

I absolutely loved this series, I found myself in a little listening slump and could not find anything that inspired me. But one listen to this and I was hooked.

I loved it that much I purchased additional credits so I could listen to all of the books I couldn’t wait. I would 100% recommend this series to anyone who wants a bit of spice and a dominant male.

The narrators were both great and worked well.

WOW Each book had me hooked

I think I'm in love with Viktor, he's the scariest but so kind, gentle and loving. The chemistry was off the charts. The story was so immersive and kept you wanting more. I love the friendship between Viktor and Lucca. I love the loyalty and support the priesthood offers. The story is well written and 5 stars to the narrators.

I dont know if it's related to my misophonia or what, but I could NOT stand the female voice. The way she lowers her voice at the end of the word, the sort of lazy and raspy finnish. I dont believe for a second the narrator acctually talks like this irl, so this is probably something she could avoid doing. Cant even listen to the book all the way through, no chance. Other than that the book seems great, so I'm bummed I wasted my money on audio for this one.

would have prefered reading over listening
