This book is very funny
I needed an easy to listen to book, my last was heavy going. This was perfect. Quick flowing and laugh out loud. I couldn't wait to get back to it. I found myself wondering what she was up to! It's the sort of book my wife would give me to read on holiday after she had finished reading it. I enjoyed this very much.

Keeps you awake
Warning. Don't listen to this book in bed before going to sleep. It makes you laugh so much that you will still be awake hours later. It is so funny it is not just for women - my husband wanted to know what I found so funny and he loved it as well.

Laugh out loud moments,! Brought to life by brilliant narrator
Ok, so it’s not my usual genre, I’m usually a crime thriller enthusiast. But I am so glad I bought this audiobook.
Truly humorous, better than the Bridget Jones books BY A MILE.
The book was really brought to life by the exceptional narration of Gracie Thomas. How she brought Emma to life, conveying every single emotion, from the mortifying spraying of execs in Glasgow, to fright on the flight and every “NO!! Noooooo” moment throughout the book.
The story was fab, the narrator made it exceptional.
I’ll definitely listen to this one again and again whenever I’m feeling a little down.... it’s just brilliant.
Get this book for a little joy and humour in your day

Shame it's over.
I haven't been a fan of the shopaholic series but thought I'd give it a try. The hours flew by! The story was addictive and funny. A fantastic book.

Highly patronising towards females. misogynistic almost
Narrator was good. Very hissy, scratchy recording. You could clearly hear every time the recorder was switched on or off. I did enjoy the yarn. Well constructed but oh my! Ditzy girl meets high flyer, high IQ millionaire. She’s totally stupid but he falls for her anyway. But his idea of love is to betray her, but she still loves him. Hello.... Women portrayed badly. Very old fashioned social norms.

much better than expected!
This was the first book I had read/listened to by this author and was expecting the usual light hearted, easy and somewhat predictable book that I get every now and again to pass away a long car journey or help me sleep at night, in that it doesn't matter if i miss a bit. But i was hooked straight away and really pulled by the emotions of the story. I really got involved in the story and feel a bit lost now as i kept listening to bits through the day/evening not just in the car!

A delightfully funny book
I bought this book as an antidote to all the crime fiction I've been listening to recently and it made a nice change as I walked the hills. It was lucky I was on my own as at times I laughed out loud at the hilarious situations that the heroine, Emma, got into and how she extricated herself. The book is a delightful mix of romantic fiction, situation comedy and a satire of the incomprehensible business-speak of product-marketing departments. Some of the scenes have special appeal to women as the author describes our anguish over men, our bodies and clothes. But I'm sure many men would also enjoy the book as they recognize what intrigues and bewilders them in their relationships with us.

Promised so much, didnt deliver
I have to say I didn't find this book funny in the slightest, I also found the narrators voice's quite annoying when doing other voices which were not the main character Emma.
Very disappointed. Three hours into the book I was wondering what, if anything, had actually happened which was noteworthy.

Laugh out loud funny!
Any additional comments?
Loved this book, my first but not last read of Sophie Kinsella.
This had me laughing out loud a lot of times.
Emma is on a flight that hits turbulence, Emma is a nervous flyer, a very nervous flyer. Emma thinks that she is going to die.........so she starts talking to the man next to her.
Except she doesn't just talk to him, she gets an extreme case of verbal diarrhea and tells him everything. .....EVERYTHING!!!
Like the fact that she wears knickers 2 sizes to small, and that she hasn't found her G spot yet, oh yes and that the company she works for has crappy coffee, a shitty manager and she threw away a clients details.
The flight landed fine and she went away embarrassed, but safe in the knowledge that she would never see the man again so it doesn't matter.............
Only the man turns out to be the founder of the company, the big cheese, the CEO of the company, and just so happens to visit their offices for a few days.
There are some cracking one liners and I thoroughly enjoyed this little slice of fun
