Summary

The world of this novel moves back in time as the layers are peeled away to reveal the truth about a long-ago family tragedy that impacts the characters' lives for years after. Beginning with a young college student haunted by her own choices and ending with the surprisingly serene image of an aging woman looking back on her turbulent life, the story encompasses a panorama of events set against the changing social backdrop of the middle years of the 20th century.

The rest of the story...

Any additional comments?

After listening to Call Me Tuesday, I had to know what happened next. I was so glad to know that Leigh Byrne told the rest of her story. And she did so with the same great writing style as with her first book. Call Me Cockroach is a much needed followup to let you know how the author's childhood affected her as an adult. I hate that she went through all that she did, but knowing that she came out as strong as she did gives hope to all abuse survivors out there. Again, Ms. Ryan did an excellent job with the narration. I'm looking forward to future books from this author.

A Well Written Book

I felt like I was reading a story about my own life. This book was very well written. And very therapeutic. It was so moving that I would actually like to contact the author and thank her for writing it.

awesome book

I thought this book, the 2nd part of " Call me Tuesday" did a great job of taking you back into the past, just enough for you to understand what the reader was referring to, but not so much that you felt like it was just a remake of the Tuesday book. The reader was engaging and did the book justice. It was a difficult story and I found myself having to take breaks because of how real the reader made Tuesday become to me, and as she started to spin out of control.....well, I don't want to spoil the read for anyone. I definitely recommend this book as well as it's beginning "Call me Tuesday", which definitely should be listened to first. You will not regret it, but prepare yourself for hideous abuse.

Narration is Amazing. Story is fine.

I really purchased this to hear the rest of the Call Me Tuesday story. I was glad that I finished the story, but I didn't really enjoy the story.

Everything about this audiobook is great

The story although sad, was well written and the narrator was awesome. Her other book just as good. I highly recommend this book.
