Summary

They told David it was impossible - that even the Reckoners had never killed a High Epic. Yet Steelheart - invincible, immortal, unconquerable - is dead. And he died by David's hand.

Eliminating Steelheart was supposed to make life more simple. Instead it only made David realize he has questions. Big ones. And there's no one in Newcago who can give him the answers he needs. He found some of those answers in Firefight. Now he has to decide what to do with them....

Calamity is about what you do to fill your heart once you have vengeance.

Good conclusion

What can I say..... it's a good wrap up to the trilogy. Nothing hugely "epic", but everything is in keeping with the previous books, and the outcome is satisfying if not unexpected. Some good character development, and all's well that ends well. (naturally, a little twist towards the end that is typical of Sanderson, but it all still hangs together appropriately).

Not sure how much more there was to develop in this series, so probably right that it ends here.

I love Reckoners

I love Reckoners so much, it's so brilliant and good. All of the books were amazing and I loved the ending alot. Thank you so much Brandon for all these books, they genuinely support me through a hard and lonely time.

Great finish to the trilogy!

Great book with exciting action sequences and a compelling story. Feels a bit rushed towards the end and doesn't quite nail the landing but definitely worth a read!

Great end to the series.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. Narration is very good and well directed. The concept of super powers occurring on our world is an interesting one which is well explored I this series.

Great reader/actor

I love the storey and am never sure on switching from printed to audio, how it can affect the characters you create within your mind me. This actor is fantastic, the genuine emotion he displayed and read... Simply great.

A good ending to a good series. Just good though

As an enormous Brandon Sanderson fan, I was always going to like this. It's been a good series of books but as is often the case, the pace and excitement of the first book is seldom recaptured

This book is just ok by Sandersons standards. All his usual elements, humour, good flowing writing although the dialogue in this one was not great.

As others have said, a very satisfactory ending to a good series with a nice little twist. Worth a credit but don't expect to have your socks blown off

Great listen, with many twists

Well written and delivered with twist and turns along the way. It kept me in the car for a few hours after I arrived!
