This is the second book in the series, it's just as good as the first, with dark secrets that people in power will do anything to keep buried, who can they trust? Can Jas and his team find the evidence they need or will they too become a threat that needs silencing? Every aspect of this series is well written, the romance, crime, suspense, characters, you become so absorbed the pages turn themselves and the outside world disappears, I originally read this in one sitting - time ceased to exist, so it was 2am when I reached the final page and I was still tempted to begin book 3 there and then! I listened to it this time on Audible and it is even better than reading it.
