About this listen

A Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, and Amazon Charts best seller

From number one New York Times best-selling phenomenon Sylvia Day comes a hotly anticipated and passionate new love story.

Once, I would never have imagined myself here. But I’m settled now. In a place I love, in a home I renovated, spending time with new friends I adore, and working a job that fulfills me. I am reconciling the past and laying the groundwork for the future.

Then Garrett Frost moves in next door.

He’s obstinate and too bold, a raging force of nature that disrupts the careful order of my life. I recognize the ghosts that haunt him, the torment driving him. Garrett would be risky in any form, but wounded, he’s far more dangerous. I fear I’m too fragile for the storm raging inside him, too delicate to withstand the pain that buffets him. But he’s too determined…and too tempting.

And sometimes hope soars above even the iciest desolation.

Emotional and heartrending, Butterfly in Frost marks a brilliant return by global sensation Sylvia Day, the number-one international multimillion best-selling author of the Crossfire saga.

I didn't expect that ending, and it felt unfinished to me. I needed more of a proper closer. Our couple here meet when he moved next door, but they are both dealing with grief and depression. It's a very sweet story, how they help each other overcome the loss and bereavement. Dealing with depression wasn't easy.
It's very spicy too, the author detailed their relationship development in the intimacy area well. It was 🔥🔥🔥🌶🌶🌶
The narration was outstanding, it made the spice hotter, the sweet moments more cute and the sadness palpable. Joe Arden and Emma Wilder did an amazing job 💖

3,5⭐ sweet and heartbreak 💔😢

I enjoyed this, I found the twist very unexpected and clever but felt it ended too soon after the big reveal.
it was great to get an update on ava cross and carry.

unexpected

Wow! I was so confused at first, without giving anything away but what a jaw dropping twist at the end that makes you freeze doing what you're doing because it is pretty much a shock/unexpected turn of events! Fabulous as always from Sylvia Day.

This book could have been longer, sure. But it isn't the last of these two. This was to capture these characters, to understand them better as they are In Ireland. So don't write this story off.

A must read before you listen/read Ireland (as I found out at the beginning notes in Ireland so listened to this first). This is in-between the Crossfire series and Ireland.

A must before listening/reading Ireland. Totally unexpected

This is a lovely new begin story, after a terrible incedent, with twists that surprised me at the end. Great to know Eva and Carry still on their happy endings and going strong. Read brilliantly by Emma Wilder and Joe Arden.
